The Story of Coo the Baby Crow

Day 9

BTW Dr. Lancer said my hand irritation resulted from overuse of hand sanitizer - made worse by abrasion from the rough inside lining of the old garden gloves I used to handle Coo. Didn’t know you could “over use” hand sanitizer and I was using the gloves for safety!!  But I’m OK now. Also BTW research indicates it is very very unlikely that Coo could transmit an infectious agent to me, Anna or Joyele.  They may poop a lot but they are very clean birds

I have noticed that a pimple-like lesion above Coo’s eye seems to be getting bigger. I will do some research tonight to try to determine if I should be concerned.

Re questions about the fan. It’s a warm day but primary purpose is not cooling. I read re crow development that airflow over their feathers is important to stimulate activity critical for flight development. So … a fan! Sure enough Coo loves walk up to and sit in front of it!
