Day 15

After A LOT of calls I got a referral to a mobile veterinarian with “a bit of a renegade reputation willing to bend rules to help animals.”  He’ll come in 2 days. Thank God!  Because in addition to the growth under the feathers, the eye lesion seems to be growing … fast.

I noticed this growth under Coo’s feathers in addition to the one near Coo’s eye. A vet should check it out I think. But just learned very few veterinarians will treat a wild bird b/c of Cal law! Tried all our local vets, none are willing to help. One suggested euthanasia! WTF!
